We are seeking a skilled 1st Shift Electrical Mechanic to support the production, installation, and repair of electrical equipment in a specialty tape manufacturing setting. This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems, reading blueprints, and performing preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in applied science or a related technical field, or 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience. strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential. Responsibilities
- Work from electronic diagrams, blueprints, schematics, job tickets, work request, written and/or
verbal instructions.
Troubleshoot equipment and repair all electrical and electronic breakdowns.
Install, replace and repair microprocessors, replace programmable controllers, solid state
controls, temperature controls, motors, gauges, and control panels.
Replace brushes and bearings for motors, tachometers and generators.
Troubleshoot and program control programs as required.
Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment.
Assist in identifying and solving machine problems.
Use electrical and electronic test equipment including but not limited to oscilloscopes, voltmeter,
ammeters, meggers, digital meters, calibration apparatus, and laptop computers.
Assist in the construction and installation of new equipment.
Follow all GMP, safety and company rules and regulations.
Maintain necessary records.
Perform safety checks on equipment.
Assistant other maintenance crews.
Move materials as necessary.
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Perform other duties as required or directed.
The essential functions of this role include:

working up to 7 hrs of overtime per week
