Job Summary:

Morton Salt's Rittman, OH location has an immediate opening for a Storeroom Supervisor. The right individual will be responsible for administration of storerooms.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accountable for storeroom tools, organization, and cleanliness.
• Accountable for primary and satellite storeroom management, including cycle counts.
• Accountable for the packaging and distribution of facility FedEx/UPS packages to appropriate clerks.
• Accountable/responsible for maintaining target inventory levels and other storeroom KPIs.
• Accountable/responsible for receiving materials.
• Responsible for development, training, and competencies of storekeepers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related field, preferred.
• Inventory support experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Possesses knowledge of technical information on the unit/area.
• Knowledge of Data Stream preferred.
• Computer knowledge.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

• Normal working schedule is day shift - flexible schedule and overtime may be required.
• Responds to urgent or emergency situations outside of normal working hours as needed.
• Works in seated or standing positions for prolonged periods of time.
• May perform sustained manual activities at moderate to heavy levels of exertion including lifting and moving loads of a minimum of fifty (50) pounds, climbing ladders/stairs, and working on elevated platforms.
• Works and travels throughout plant environment of varied temperatures and humidity.
• Wears personal protective equipment as required and uses full range of motion.
• Works in general office and manufacturing plant environments.
