Description We are seeking to fill the role of an Application Support Engineer based in Rincon, Georgia. This role will primarily involve working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases, coordinating their development, and providing application development support. The individual will also be expected to provide data analysis and conversion support, as well as technical capabilities in support of image processing.

Responsibilities:

• Enter data into Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases using various techniques

• Coordinate the development of integrated Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases

• Prepare graphic representations of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data

• Interpret aerial/satellite imagery and review incoming data for accuracy, usefulness, quality, and completeness of documentation

• Transfer or rescale information from original documents into GIS environment

• Provide customer application development and support

• Utilize various computer languages and applications, most notably ArcMap, ArcPro, AutoCAD, and Python

• Maintain competency with basic GIS principles, field data collection and processing methods, and vector extraction/digitization from imagery

• Offer technical capabilities to support complex imagery, geospatial, and textual information

• Work effectively in a fast-paced team-based environment, at times with minimum supervision. Requirements • Must possess at least 1 year of experience in an Application Support Engineer role or similar

• Proficient in Cisco Technologies, Dell Technologies, and Microsoft applications

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems and Configuration Management

• Must have experience with AB Testing and Active Directory

• Familiarity with Application Support and Computer Hardware

• Proficient in Database management

• Experience with ArcGIS Server, GIS mapping, and Microsoft SQL is required

• Must have Python and Python Scripting skills

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Must be willing to learn new technologies and adapt to changes rapidly
