We are offering a short-term contract reception opportunity for a law firm in Ridge. The Receptionist will be an integral part of our client's team, providing essential services such as handling switchboard operations, taking messages, and ensuring smooth office operations.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently operate the switchboard, directing calls to appropriate offices.

• Take detailed messages and ensure they are delivered to the correct recipient.

• Maintain a presence during office hours to provide necessary coverage.

• Utilize Mac computers and operating systems to carry out daily tasks.

• Provide additional legal assistant services as required.

• Ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently.

• Maintain a detail oriented demeanor and provide excellent customer service.

• Assist in resolving any issues or inquiries that may arise.

Requirements • Prior experience in an Assistant role is necessary

• Proficiency in using Mac OS is required

• Experience with Mac OS X is essential

• Knowledge of e-File system is a must

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are necessary

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed

• Confidential information handling is a requirement

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is crucial

• Demonstrable customer service skills are required

• Should have a detail oriented appearance and attitude

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is desirable

• Independent and team work abilities are required

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively is needed

• Basic accounting skills are a plus.
