Job Title: Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent who is passionate about building structures to lead on-site activities throughout the construction process, ensuring successful project delivery on time and within budget. This role involves managing all field activities for projects of various sizes, coordinating with subcontractors to ensure quality and timeliness, and working closely with the Project Manager. Responsibilities also include project start-up and close-out, maintaining project documents, preparing construction schedules, managing budgets, and enforcing quality and safety procedures on-site.

Hard Skills

• Experience with Blue Beam

• OSHA 30 certified

• Experience in managing construction projects above $30 million

• Ability to prepare and manage project construction schedules

• Proficient in project budget management

• Skilled in project document organization

Soft Skills

• Independent project management

• Strong coordination skills

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work flexibly and manage time effectively

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Richmond, Virginia.

Work Environment

The role requires spending significant time in the field in a family-oriented work environment. The position involves typical construction hours, exceeding 40 hours per week, with some flexibility. The Superintendent will work closely with Project Managers, report to the Project Executive, and receive support from project coordinators.
