Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Reporting Analyst in the IT Software industry, located in Richmond, Virginia. The role involves transforming raw data into actionable insights to drive business decisions. You will work closely with various stakeholders to develop SQL queries and scripts, produce accurate reports, and communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand and address reporting needs and requirements.

• Design, develop, and execute SQL queries and scripts to extract, analyze, and manipulate data from multiple databases.

• Develop and maintain reports using tools such as SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), Power BI, or similar platforms.

• Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to stakeholders to aid in decision making.

• Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of all reports generated.

• Troubleshoot data issues, validate result sets, and recommend improvements for data management processes.

• Develop and maintain documentation related to report specifications, data mappings, and data dictionaries.

• Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices in SQL, data analysis, and reporting.

• Utilize skills in BusinessObjects Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, Microsoft, Microsoft Word, AB Testing, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Requirement Document, Create Dashboards, and Data Analysis. Requirements • Proficiency in BusinessObjects Technologies is essential for this role.

• Candidates must have a solid understanding of Database systems.

• Experience with EO/IR systems is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft suite, including Microsoft Word, is necessary.

• Knowledge and experience in AB Testing is required.

• Applicants should have an understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) and its applications in data reporting.

• Ability to prepare Business Requirement Documents with clear and concise language is required.

• Candidates must have the ability to create dashboards for data visualization and reporting purposes.
