Job Summary

As a ServiceNow CMDB Engineer, you will be responsible for helping our client update their inventory using Discovery and ServiceNow Graphs.

Job Description

We are looking for a ServiceNow Engineer to support our client building out their inventory management within the platform. This position will be full-time; onsite in Miramar, FL is preferred but solid candidates located in EST or CST will also be considered for remote work .

Due to our end client, candidates must legally eligible to work in the US without a need for sponsorship now or in the future. Candidates also must be able to work directly on CAI's W2.

What You’ll Do

  • Planning, scheduling and executing management activities (i.e., Discovery schedules)

  • Monitor and maintain the CMDB health and integrity

  • Assists in deployment and configuration of ServiceNow Mid Servers

  • Monitors and maintains ServiceNow Mid Servers

  • Assists in deployment and configuration of ServiceNow Service Graph Connectors

  • Monitors and maintains ServiceNow Service Graph schedules

What You'll Need

Required:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in Information Technology or combination of education and work experience

  • Experience ITIL concepts

  • Hands on experience with CMDB (configuration management) and ServiceNow CSDM (common service data model) concepts, ServiceNow Fundamentals and ServiceNow Discovery

  • Knowledge of Windows Servers

  • Knowledge of Linux Servers

  • Knowledge of Cloud Systems (AWS, Azure, etc.)

  • Good troubleshooting skills

Preferred:

  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, etc.) is preferred

  • Experience with SAM and HAM preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is desired

  • Experience with ServiceNow Graphs highly desired

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
