About the Opportunity

The National IT Office of the Chief Information Security Officer has an immediate opening for an IS Analyst Senior reporting to the Information Security Manager accountable for SAFR Automation.

The Federal Reserve SAFR program is the Federal Reserve’s approved information security (IS) program for the Reserve Banks. This position supports the application used system wide to manage compliance to the SAFR program. This position works directly with users to triage issues, gathers and reports usage metrics, ensure operational resiliency for the application and define/refine strategic enhancements. As a part of the SAFR Automation team, this position has the unique opportunity to represent the system user perspective and shape transformational change.

What You Will Do:

  • Monitor and respond to tickets submitted the SAFR Automation Support System within defined SLA timelines.

  • Research and propose solutions to user inquiries

  • Gather and report operational metrics

  • Proactively identify trends and opportunities in SAFR data

  • Represent the voice of users regarding user experience

  • Partners with users and SAFR stakeholders to understand business requirements and translates those to development requirements

  • Performing system tests and updates, and ensuring that support systems are running correctly

  • Updating, testing, and enhancing SAFR Automation products (Xacta 360, Xacta.io, Xacta Data Warehouse, etc.)

  • Maintaining detailed design and user documentation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • 6 to 9+ years of relevant work experience

  • Experience in technical analysis, user support, or support desk functions

  • Experience in technical support of vendor applications

  • 2 to 3+ years of experience with NIST 800-53 framework or similar

  • [Desired] Experience in data analytics and visualization with Tableau, SQL, and Databricks

  • [Desired] Experience in application development (programming skills) with Python or other similar languages

  • The hiring range for Analyst IS Senior is $103,400 – $129,300 annually.

  • For candidates outside Richmond, VA, listed hiring and salary ranges may be adjusted based on your geographic location.

  • Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
