Robert Half Onboarding Specialist in Richmond, Virginia
Description We are looking for an Onboarding Specialist to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves providing outstanding customer service and support to new hires in our Health Systems industry. You will be a key point of contact for candidates during the onboarding process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all necessary paperwork and verifications.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first point of contact for candidates during the onboarding process.
• Ensure the completion and accurate submission of new permanent paperwork, including all candidates required to undergo all candidates required to undergo all candidates required to undergo background check and work authorization forms.
• Verify I-9 documents and submit them to third-party vendors in a timely manner.
• Handle badge picture-taking and upload them to the appropriate database.
• Provide assistance and direction to patrons, visitors, and staff within the hospital as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Utilize various technology systems to complete tasks.
• Provide high-quality customer service through excellent listening and communication skills.
• Maintain an organized and efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and a keen attention to detail. Requirements • Proficient in customer service and communication skills
• Proven experience in training and supervising teams
• Demonstrable knowledge of database management and Human Resources (HR) administration
• Solid understanding and experience with hiring processes and onboarding
• Familiarity with Clinical Trial Operations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all business-related matters
• Experience in verification processes
• Basic photography skills
• Knowledge of HealthCare.gov and its operations
• Authorization management experience
• Previous experience in a call center environment
• Advanced computer skills, including familiarity with iPad and laptop hardware
• Ability to work onsite when required
• Physical ability to perform light lifting tasks if necessary
• Demonstrates punctuality and reliability
• Capable of handling phone inquiries efficiently
• Knowledge of licensure processes
• Experience working with third-party vendors
• Proficiency in completing and managing authorization forms
