Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician/Electrician to join our team at our industrial laundry facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting, specifically with industrial washers, dryers, conveyors, and boiler systems. This role is essential for maintaining the equipment's reliability and efficiency, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial laundry equipment, focusing on electrical systems including washers, dryers, conveyors, and boiler systems.
Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems, ensuring proper functionality and addressing any faults or malfunctions.
Interpret and analyze control circuitry and electrical schematics to identify issues and implement solutions.
Utilize a multimeter for troubleshooting, including measuring voltage, continuity, and millivolts to diagnose and resolve complex electrical problems.
Conduct routine inspections and tests of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.

Work Environment
This role is based in an industrial laundry facility that supports hospitals and doctors/outpatient facilities. The 'blue building' supports hospital facilities that operate on an 8am-5pm schedule, while the 'white building' supports 24/7 hospital-type facilities. The shift for this position is Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, with two technicians needed in the blue building and one in the white building. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring standing for 8-10 hours a day. Certain areas around the dryers are hot, and the facility can be warm during the summer and cold during the winter. Candidates must be comfortable working in hot and cold environments.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.29 - $35.29/hr.
