Aerotek Floor Technician in Richmond, Virginia
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Floor Care Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and the proper procedures for hard floor care, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, and spray cleaning. The role also involves the use of various types of industrial floor care equipment and automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surfaces. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for carpet and upholstery care, such as shampooing, damp surface extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming. This position requires performing maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
Responsibilities
Maintain knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care, including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, and spray cleaning.
Utilize various types of industrial floor care equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surfaces.
Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery care, including shampooing, damp surface extraction, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
Work Environment
This position is onsite at a health system facility. The majority of openings are at the main hospital. The work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, or there is a 3:00pm-11:30pm schedule as well.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00
