Robert Half Financial Administration Manager in Richmond, Virginia
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Administration Manager in the heart of Richmond, Virginia. The chosen candidate will be joining our team in the financial industry with the primary role of ensuring our financial administration is managed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
• Provide quality service to our clients and proactively respond to both internal and external inquiries.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP and SEC rules and regulations.
• Manage the annual audit process for various fiscal year-ends.
• Ensure accurate and timely budgeting and expense payments.
• Prepare quarterly board reports and ensure they are delivered on time.
• Understand and review the requirements of SEC filings, including deadlines, information sources, and the electronic filing process.
• Understand the applicable sections of Sub Chapter M of the IRC and tax-related financial statement disclosures.
• Lead and manage projects, department initiatives, and participate in committees.
• Perform all aspects of people management, such as performance reviews, hiring, feedback provision, and training.
• Conduct regular coaching and feedback sessions with direct reports and team meetings. Requirements • The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial administration role.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a key requirement for this role.
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is essential.
• Experience with BlackLine software is crucial for successful performance in this role.
• Must possess knowledge of EPS.
• Expertise in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required.
• Sound understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary.
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is a crucial requirement.
• Must have experience in Auditing.
• Proficiency in handling Balance Sheet Account is required.
• Knowledge of Budget Processes is mandatory.
