Robert Half File Clerk in Richmond, Virginia

Description We are offering a contract for a File Clerk position in our team based in Richmond, Virginia. As a File Clerk, you will be working within the legal industry and will be responsible for managing records, carrying out clerical duties, and handling mail distribution.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the organization and maintenance of departmental and personnel records

• Handle the distribution of mail and ensure timely delivery

• Maintain accuracy of account records and inventory records

• Carry out clerical duties to support the team

• Manage the file system, including both paper files and digital records

• Utilize software such as Adobe Acrobat and About Time for record keeping

• Prepare charts and graphs as needed for record presentation

• Independently ensure the proper organization of files

• Keep track of constituent records and update as necessary Requirements • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat software to manage and manipulate PDF documents

• Familiarity with About Time software for time tracking purposes

• Ability to create Charts and Graphs for data visualization and reporting

• Experience in performing Clerical Duties such as typing, copying, and faxing

• Skilled in managing Department Records to maintain accurate and up-to-date information

• Ability to handle Account Records, ensuring they are properly filed and readily accessible

• Demonstrated experience in Records Maintenance to ensure information is organized and secure

• Knowledge of best practices in Records Management to maintain data integrity

• Experience with Inventory Records, ensuring accuracy of stock levels and item locations

• Ability to handle confidential Personnel Records in a secure and ethical manner

• Experience with Constituent Records, ensuring they are accurately filed and easily retrievable

• Ability to Deliver Mail promptly and accurately within the organization

• Experience in Mail Distribution, ensuring all correspondence reaches the correct recipients

• Familiarity with various File System types and their organization

• Ability to Maintain Files effectively, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible

• Strong skills in Organizing Files in a systematic and efficient manner

• Experience with Paper Files, ensuring they are well organized and secure.
