Richmond Express Courier Service and Warehousing seeks a professional and customer-focused Dispatcher to join our team!

Candidates would be responsible for:

• Tracking orders ensuring that times and service standards are met
• Working with the team to provide service in line with the Richmond Express standard
• Utilizing critical thinking skills to ensure efficiency and accuracy in service
• Providing excellent customer service

This position is ideal for individuals who prefer a challenging and dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license
• 2 Years prior customer service experience
• Dispatch experience preferred

What youll be doing:

• Providing excellent service in a dynamic dispatch department
• Building rapport with customers and drivers, while acting as the lead liaison for the fleet
• Providing insight and feedback to ensure driver expectations are met

What is required:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Self-motivation
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good working knowledge of the Richmond area
