Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in the Semi-Conductors and Electric Component Manufacturing industry, located in Richmond, Virginia. The role is for a Bookkeeper who will ensure the smooth running of our financial operations. As a Bookkeeper, you will be tasked with maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and generating financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Establish a systematic approach for accounting for financial transactions by setting up a chart of accounts and defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.

• Ensure the accuracy of accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.

• Achieve account balance by reconciling entries.

• Uphold the general ledger by maintaining and balancing it.

• Preserve quality historical records by filing documents.

• Generate financial reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing account information.

• Manage Accounts Receivable by creating invoices, reviewing received payments, and recording deposits.

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Bookkeeping, Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, Payroll, and QuickBooks. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping role

• Proven competence in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations

• Demonstrated skills in bookkeeping

• Excellent data entry skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Ability to handle Payroll tasks

• Familiarity with QuickBooks software

• Knowledge of Semi-Conductors and Electric Component Manufacturing industry is a plus
