Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer responsible for safeguarding our participants, team members, and facilities. In this role, you will work closely with a team of Security Officers, interacting with participants, staff, and visitors to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols to identify and address safety and security issues.

  • Monitor parking areas, ensuring the safety of vehicles and preventing theft.

  • Perform random drug screenings on participants.

  • Oversee entry to the facility, including bag checks and monitoring security systems.

  • Operate and review video surveillance equipment.

  • Respond promptly to emergencies and requests for assistance.

  • Document and report irregularities, such as damage, theft, unauthorized access, or unusual events.

  • Enforce security policies and collaborate with team members to maintain a secure environment.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

  • A deep passion for our mission and a commitment to making a difference.

  • Ability to thrive in a multi-disciplinary, team-oriented environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

  • Knowledge of security equipment, policies, and procedures to protect people, data, and property.

  • Keen attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in security, military, or law enforcement.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an armed security guard license (where applicable).

  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • Experience working with justice-involved adults or other vulnerable populations is a plus.

  • A higher education degree is preferred.

  • CPR/Adult First Aid certification is a plus.

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
