Nexeo Staffing Food Production Machine Operator in RICHMOND, Utah
Nexeo HR is seeking dedicated individuals to fill a Food Production Machine Operator role in the Richmond area. As a Machine operator you will operate and monitor smokehouse equipment to ensure products are processed according to specifications. Conduct routine quality checks and document results to maintain product standards. This is a temp to hire,long term opportunity.
Responsibilities
Set oven controllers according to product specifications.
Load auxiliary equipment with materials and ingredients.
Load raw product carts into smokehouses.
Monitor oven cycles and test product samples at required intervals.
Perform tests,such as PH,fat,and moisture levels,and document findings.
Report any inconsistencies to supervisors or quality assurance personnel.
Push carts of cooked products into chill coolers.
Empty cinder and ash from smoke generators as needed.
Sanitize drains,floors,and equipment as required.
Ensure food safety by monitoring the work environment.
Assist with production tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Strong aptitude for math and proficiency in Microsoft programs with basic computer knowledge.
General knowledge of smokehouse operations (training provided).
Ability to stand for extended periods,work in varied temperatures (including refrigerated and heated areas),and lift over 25 lbs. repeatedly.
Capable of pushing/pulling levered weights between 25 and 1,000 lbs.,and performing physical tasks such as bending,kneeling,squatting,reaching,and grasping throughout the shift.
Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE),including earplugs,hairnet,beard-net,safety eyewear,cut-resistant gloves,and slip-resistant footwear.
Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures and moderate noise levels; flooring may be slippery at times.
Pay
$20.00 Per Hour
