We're seeking a skilled Production Manager to lead our team in crafting high-quality finishes on wood, rattan, and other unique materials. If you're experienced in managing production, developing custom finishes, and ensuring top-tier quality, this role offers the perfect opportunity to showcase your leadership and technical expertise.

salary: $110,000 - $125,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 6 AM - 3 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Manage production, and scheduling for a team of 15.

• Monitor workflows to ensure production schedules are met while overseeing inventory for timely project completion.

• Develop and document custom techniques and formulas for paints, stains, and finishes to match samples.

• Select appropriate sealers, stains, and top coats based on wood characteristics.

• Maintain and ensure proper use of equipment such as pneumatic spray guns.

• Conduct routine safety audits and quality inspections to ensure compliance with standards.

• Collaborate with product development teams to meet specific color requirements and ensure consistent application.

• Train and mentor staff on finishing techniques and color theory, enhancing overall team efficiency.

• Continuously seek process improvements to optimize finishing operations and reduce waste.

The essential functions of this role include:
