Description Respiratory Equipment Technician - Respiratory Therapy Unit - Kadlec Regional Medical Center Richland, WA Under the direction of the Unit Manager or designee, the Respiratory Care Equipment Technician provides technical support to the department, cleaning and maintaining equipment, ordering supplies, and stocking work areas. Also performs patient-care related duties, including performing oxygen rounds, home oxygen evaluations, taking basic vital signs (heart rate, respiratory rate, and pulse oximetry reading) and patient charges. Available Opportunities: 2 openings: Part-time, 0.5 FTE (20 working hours per week), variable shift Required Qualifications: upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Certified nursing Assistant (CNA) course or equivalent education/experience. Coursework/Training: Enrollment in a accredited Respiratory Therapy education program or equivalent education/experience. upon hire: Additional specialty certification.
