- Job #8081 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Nuclear Project Coordinator position will manage small projects for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line maintenance, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Responsibilities include budget development, work package preparation, parts procurement, safety planning, and resource management. This role also involves contract management, vendor relations, and supporting senior management communication. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. Pay rate: $32.26 - $49 Benefits:

- Manage small projects for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line maintenance, ensuring safe, quality, on-schedule, and on-budget execution.
- Oversee staff in project planning, leading, controlling, and monitoring.
- Develop budgets and track cost versus budget for assigned projects.
- Prepare work packages, procure parts, and plan for ALARA, industrial, and nuclear safety.
- Prioritize work, allocate resources, and resolve schedule delays and conflicts.
- Interface with clients, engineers, related parties, and management to ensure project progress.
- Develop and manage contracts, and maintain vendor relations.
- Communicate effectively with various groups, including senior management, through written and oral reports.
- Develop and maintain long-range strategies for assigned projects.
- Support the implementation of the Columbia Generating Station Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program.
- Provide outage support, including OCC. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university AND 1 year of experience in a technical field;
- OR Associates degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university AND 3 years experience in a technical field;
- OR High School Diploma/GED AND 5 years experience in a technical field.
- Project Management Certification.
- Construction Management Certification.
- Basic knowledge of project management techniques and core values related to human performance and cost-effective work execution.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer software tools.
- Familiarity with error reduction and human performance improvement methods.
- Experience with managing projects, on-line work management, refueling, and forced outage management activities.
- Understanding of engineering principles or standard project management techniques. Work sponsorship is not available at this time. Third-party candidates will not be considered for this position.
