We are seeking a Government Property Specialist Energy, to join the team in our Richland, WA office.

How will you contribute to the team?

Performs property management duties related to the acquisition, marking and tagging, usage, control, accountability, physical inventory, storage and disposition of material and equipment.

Understands and places special emphasis on the control of sensitive and high-risk property items.

Performs data entry in the property data system & have the ability to read, understand and follow numerous procedures and requirements.

Trains and monitors the performance of organizational property custodians and representatives in field organizations.

Performs compliance related tasks in accordance with Federal and contractual property management regulations.

Implements property management processes pertaining to acquisitions, receiving, identification, records, inventories, subcontract control, storage, movement, utilization, maintenance reports, relief of stewardship, disposition, and contract closeout.

Assists employees and managers with completion of various tasks required by the Government Property Procedure and with applicable regulatory requirements.

Conducts inventories, reconciles reports and prepares reports.

Processes excess property for disposition.

Assists with and develops procedure, instructions, and forms.

Maintains property record database for uniquely identified property, subcontractor property, excess property and disposed property.

Ensures accurate record keeping.

Prepares various property reports upon request such as government inventory and government property status.

Participates in government property related meetings and organizes materials for the preparation of meetings, presentations, and training sessions.

Acts on own initiative on assigned property control activities of increasing complexity with little supervision. Conducts investigations and inquiries into specific government property control management problems.

Strong communication and computer skills.

Ability to work in various field conditions throughout the year.
