How will you contribute to the team?
Supports a variety of projects, involving both design and field services of engineered products, for the commercial nuclear industry and government clients.
Interfaces with clients and successfully delivers engineering products in accordance with customer specifications and requirements.
Oversees cost, timeliness, quality and technical adequacy of the engineering services provided through regular reviews and evaluations.
Ensures that work is conducted in accordance with applicable Engineering and Quality Assurance procedures.
Ensures all project engineering activities are performed in accordance with both statutory requirements and best practices in safety and quality.
Ensures that all design work is executed effectively and that suitable multi-discipline reviews are undertaken to ensure adequacy to project functional requirements.
Fosters a team environment and team building within Engineering and with internal and external customers. Coordinates closely with counterparts in other engineering offices, including work and resource sharing.
Establishes the technical approach to achieve project requirements and ensures the design satisfies these requirements.
Manages the design process and products configuration in accordance with approved procedures.
Oversees the preparation of cost estimates for engineering services to internal and external clients.
Operates in a matrix environment serving a variety of project managers, balancing and addressing multiple conflicting priorities.
Implements planning, scheduling and tracking of project engineering activities, commitments, costs and labor resources.
Manages and controls charges to indirect cost accounts to ensure that costs remain within budgeted amounts.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What will you contribute?
Bachelor's degree required in engineering or relevant discipline.
Minimum of 10 years industry related experience.
Minimum of 5 years' experience supporting DOE or commercial nuclear pr
