We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Billing Specialist to join our team in Richland, WA. The successful candidate will support our financial management team by preparing accurate and timely client invoices and assisting with project collections. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in billing and financial administration. Your Role : Prepare and process client invoices using a custom Oracle-based system, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Ensure compliance with customer specifications related to invoicing. Assist with project collections to ensure timely payments. Maintain contract budgets throughout the lifecycle of the project. Provide support to project managers and the financial management team by preparing ad-hoc reports when requested. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent (previous billing experience preferred). Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. Ability to independently solve problems and work with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with individuals across all levels, disciplines, and cultures. Experience with US Government invoice processing is preferred but not required. Oracle or other database experience is preferred but not required. A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required. Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions. Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience. Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 hr. Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience and demonstrated work experience in the above role; skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role; geographic location; and education, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
