Outsourcing Coordinator

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a member of the operations team, the Outsourcing Coordinator will oversee the procurement and management of outsourced services for production. This role involves collaborating with external vendors and internal teams to ensure that products are manufactured according to customer specifications and quality standards while optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and execution of outsourced projects, ensuring alignment with internal timelines and requirements.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

  • Help identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during operations, facilitating communication with engineering, and purchasing departments as needed.

  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays with vendors promptly.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., procurement, engineering, production) to ensure that outsourced services meet specifications and quality standards.

  • Conduct regular evaluations of vendor performance, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement. Address any quality issues with vendors and work collaboratively to implement corrective actions.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering, business, or relevant field required with 2-4 years' relevant experience.

  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning and development.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to achieving operational goals.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
