Siemens Energy Financial Analyst in Richland, Mississippi

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Financial Analyst in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, every day is different. You will analyze financial data to help steer the company in the right direction. This will entail performing a wide variety of activities under minimal supervision to ensure timely and accurate financial statements and management reporting. You will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues locally and abroad as you work to find solutions to a continual array of complex financial scenarios. This position is the perfect opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and focused on process improvement.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Perform month-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Support development, submission, and review of monthly financial forecasts.

  • Work closely with local Procurement team to identify and resolve issues.

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting for Plant management, including daily, weekly, monthly reports and ad hoc reporting for both US and German headquarters.

  • Participate in annual physical inventory process/reconciliation/audits.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance and/or Accounting.

  • 3+ years of experience in a related field.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Collaborate with various functional areas to drive analysis and improvements across the business.

  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and take initiative.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
