Position Title: Medical Equipment Delivery Driver Location: Richfield, Utah

Job Overview: The Medical Equipment Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of medical equipment to healthcare facilities, patients' homes, and other designated locations. This role ensures that all equipment is delivered in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies, while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivery and Pickup:

   • Transport medical equipment to and from specified locations as scheduled.
   • Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of equipment, adhering to predefined routes and schedules.
   • Pick up returned or repaired equipment from various locations.

2. Equipment Handling:

   • Inspect and secure medical equipment for transportation to prevent damage.
   • Load and unload equipment safely using appropriate handling techniques and equipment.
   • Verify that all delivered equipment matches the order specifications.

3. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Complete and maintain accurate delivery logs, ensuring that all paperwork is properly filled out and signed.
   • Report any discrepancies, damages, or issues encountered during delivery to the Office Manager.
   • Ensure proper documentation for any equipment returned or exchanged.

4. Customer Service:

   • Provide professional and courteous service to healthcare professionals, patients, and facility staff.
   • Address any questions or concerns from recipients regarding the equipment or delivery process.
   • Maintain a positive and helpful attitude, reflecting the company's commitment to excellent service.

5. Compliance and Safety:

   • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations for transporting medical equipment.
   • Follow all legal requirements related to vehicle operation and equipment handling.
   • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is in good working condition.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in delivery or transportation, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
• Skills:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to handle and transport medical equipment safely.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, and handle physically demanding tasks.

Working Conditions:

• Schedule: Full-time Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
• Vehicle: Company-provided vehicle.
• Travel: Local travel within Richfield and surrounding communities.
