Within SRPS, the Plan Administration & Implementation team is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate servicing for 1000+ plan sponsor clients and over 1.3 million participants. The Document Services team is responsible for creation and maintenance of Services Agreements, plan document review and plan design consulting services for plans converting to SRPS. The group is also responsible for qualifying domestic relations orders and assisting with third-party actions.

The Director, DC Compliance & Documentation for Workplace Financial Services is responsible for leading a team experienced in plan design strategies and required regulatory and legislative requirements. The Director will strategically drive future needs, as the industry and plan optimization trends evolve and will be responsible for daily oversight and direction of their team. The Director will support the current initiatives for streamlining and simplifying business processes and procedures and develop and be the champion for modernization initiatives.

  • Responsible for allocating team resources and aligning partner work for all Client segments.

  • Drive results to double organic growth over the next ten years and support positioning to continue to expand the market.

  • Develop staffing plans, compensation, learning and development playbooks to meet team objectives.

  • Deliver excellent internal and external client service with the ability to anticipate and resolve problems.

  • Partner with client facing teams,operations, product, digital, and technology to align resources and priorities to serve all client segments.

  • Leverage and communicate features and benefits of our platform, technologies, tools, products, and services.

What you have

Required experience:

  • Proven management background including familiarity with human resources policies related to management and10+ years’ experience working in an operational, legal, and/or consultative role in the retirement plan services industry with an emphasis on preparation of legal documents and contracts, as well as knowledge of ERISA, Internal Revenue Code and Department of Labor regulations. ASPPA (American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries) credentials, ERPA designation, or legal background preferred.

  • Demonstratedexperience with building teams and the ability to empower and coach direct reports.

  • Prior conversion, client management, project management, document drafting and/or operational experience preferred

  • Basic knowledge of pre-approved retirement plans, nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements, defined benefit retirement plans, mergers, acquisitions, and protected benefits.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize data and develop recommendations.

  • Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills – ability to think on feet, solve problems, listen, persuade, and develop win/win solutions.

Preferred experience :

  • A continuous improvement mindset and experience to increase efficiency and mitigate process risk.

  • Results-oriented approach to business and demonstrated success meeting stringent deadlines.

  • General superior communication, interpersonal and listening skills which leads to the ability to be highly collaborative and work cross-functionally.

  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and strategic thinking capabilities.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
