Collins Aerospace, Mission Systems, is hiring a Systems Administrator for our Secure Labs support team. A security clearance is not required initially but will be needed within 6 months. It’s expected that this team member will apply for Government Security Clearance (collateral secret) within the first 2 weeks of employment. Qualified candidates should have a passion for technology and be excited about finding new ways to add value to our business.

What YOU will do:

• You will help in virtual Infrastructure Support

• You will regularly work with other members of the organization as part of a cross functional team and/or leads cross-functional initiatives.

• You will build strong relationships with customers and peers.

• You will assist in requirements capture activities within the team including both customer and derived technical requirements. Ensures use cases, workflow, and requirements are accurate and complete.

• You will create solution Matrix w/ cost & schedule.

• You will serve as focal point for escalations.

• You will lead development and/or improvement of internal processes (LEAN/ACE/CORE)

• You will facilitate resolution of complex problems.

• You will lead complex infrastructure initiatives.

• You will foster relationships with your DT peers all over the world that work and WANT to work at Collins.

• You will learn how to stride with little instruction from leadership and to delegate to peers when appropriate.

Qualifications you must have:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.

• Active security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain active security clearance within 6 months.

• Experience with Networking (important)

• Experience with Desktop Support, Server Administration, and Virtualization Technologies (VM Ware, etc.)

• Experience as a Linux Systems Administration

• Experience with Compliance frameworks (RMF, DFARS)

Skills We Value:

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
