Qorvo is seeking a Federal Contract Compliance Specialist in support of our High Power Analog Groups Defense and Aerospace business unit.
This position requires a solid working knowledge of FAR/DFARS, with emphasis on acquisitions governed by FAR Part 12.
The position requires a strong individual contributor who can maintain a detail-oriented approach while consistently employing critical thinking skills.
The Federal Contract Compliance Specialist, part of our Legal Department, requires the ability to multi-task both routine and complex federal compliance-related administrative activities in high-volume situations, while effectively handling unplanned quick response requirements as they emerge.
A successful applicant will be able to navigate the complexities of defense business quote/proposal reviews, changing federal compliance requirements, complex military order placements and specialized contract clauses sought by both government and defense prime contractor customers.
The successful candidate will work closely with other Legal team members, as well as Sales, Program Management, Finance, Sourcing, and Business Unit team members.
Hybrid work model. This is not a remote position.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Review and redline federal flow down documents in response to defense prime/subcontractor RFQs or POs
Maintain internal matrix of federal flow down clauses and standard Qorvo responses/exceptions
Prepare flow down documentation and summaries for other Qorvo teams to review and develop compliance measures for regulatory and customer requirements
Complete defense prime contractor representations/certifications
Review/approve quotes in support of government funded projects in SalesForce.com
Ability to research and understand how a clause in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DFARs (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations), or other agency regulations applies to Qorvos performance of USG-funded prime contracts or subcontracts
Experience creating Pivot Tables and data charts from excel data for management analysis and KPIs
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Thorough understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other relevant USG regulations
Prior experience innegotiating federal flow down clauses with defense Prime Contractors
Ability to work under multiple deadline pressures, and prioritize work accordingly
SAP ERP and or Salesforce experience
Experience with Cost-Plus, Other Transaction Agreements and other contract types unique to USG contracting a plus
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Communicates effectively with strong written and verbal skills
Strong experience and proficiency with MS Office Product , e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and capable of learning and using company-specific program
