How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

As our Palo Alto Firewall Engineer, your focus will be configuring, deploying, and maintaining all Palo Alto Firewall products, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), Demarcation/Email Security, and VPN devices & applications. This individual will work and communicate effectively with a highly technical team of Engineers across multiple IT verticals to provide problem resolution, project deliveries, and secure connectivity implementations in accordance with CommScope standards. The successful candidate would have a solid grasp of general networking technologies, including routing (BGP/OSPF/Static), DNS/DHCP, DMZ design, VRFs, Cloud firewall implementations (Azure/GCP/AWS), and network function virtualization.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

Five or more years of firewall experience and strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points.

• In-depth knowledge of generally accepted security methods, concepts, and techniques.

• Understanding of networking protocols and standards, including BGP, OSPF, SNMP, QoS, DNS, etc.

• Experienced in packet capture and protocol analysis using tools such as Wireshark and Splunk.

• Capable of implementing roadmap strategies, communicating and coordinating work efforts across IT teams, develop and handling relationships at all levels of the organization.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Ability to prioritize/implement tasks in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions during emergencies or critical events.

• Previous experience with Azure firewall/WAF
