What you’ll do:
Development of Annual improvement plans with DC leadership to generate year over year performance improvement and achieve action, cost, and service level goals.
Conducting Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS) assessments and driving actions meet minimum required for the location, and delivering productivity improvements, to enhance customer satisfaction, reduce costs and improve service.
Support the annual plan with Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs) to close gaps identified in the ELSS assessments.
Deploying ECIS to Strengthening the management system and Lean culture supported via leadership team at the site via the CI council
Definition of standardized operational processes and ensuring that these practices are translated into the RDC system.
Leading improvement activities, including training, mentoring, moderating Kaizen events, and benchmarking.
Implementing and maintaining structured problem-solving approaches, including the application of PDCA to overcome problems, build organizational capabilities, shape culture and achieve results.
Support Operational elements of Eaton Business System (EBS) to reduce waste and duplication of work.
Collaborating with the regional/divisional CI Manager to ensure that the CI activities of the RDC are aligned with a broader functional strategy and vision.
Working together with EHS on ergonomics and safety topics, with Packaging team on Indirect Material Cost Out, with freight team on Logistic Cost Out.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering or similar).
Approx. 5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing or service industry, including at least 2 years of experience as CI Lead.
Skills:
• Business fluent in German and English
• Proficient in most O365 applications including Power Bi and Power Apps
