AME Tool Room Manager

RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Meet Quality goal of Press Business Unit Area.

  • Coordinate and manage Tool Room Supervisors to reach all SQDC goals of the business unit.

  • Introduce all new models, acquiring dies required.

  • Plans, organizes, and supervises the work of crews involved in the modification, maintenance, and repair of Dies available.

  • Coordinates maintenance activities with operations personnel to minimize down time.

  • Manage & control purchasesof spares required.

  • Responsible for the full range of supervisory activities including selection, training, evaluation, counseling, and recommendation for dismissal.

  • Coordinate & work with Suppliers, to built new dies, understand stamping metal process, deeply knowledge to suggest or provide advise during development die process to assure right production performance.

  • Proficient in managing tooling operations and resolving technical issues.

  • Skilled at ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Engineering Technology.

  • 15 years of experience in Stamping Dies maintenance, as well as wide experience on Die.

  • Design including at least 10 years of experience which were in a lead or supervisory capacity.

  • Deeply knowledge for all kind of metal stamping dies.

  • Knowledge of equipment, methods, and materials used in repairing and maintaining (metal- mechanic process).

  • Knowledge of engineering terminology, symbols, calculations, and drawings.

  • Knowledge of supervisory and management techniques.

  • Skill in effectively planning and prioritizing complex construction, maintenance, and repair operations.

  • Skill in preparing clear and concise written reports.

  • Skill in reading, interpreting, and understanding drawings, blueprints, plans, and specifications.

  • Ability to exercise balanced judgment in evaluation situations and in making decisions.

  • Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with all departments.
