The Manager of Theme Product & Selling leads the development of field education for new products and selling behaviors to enhance the customer experience in stores. An expert in teaching how to lead and deliver an exceptional customer experience, they’re an advocate for the field organization and collaborate with cross-functional partners to conceptualize, develop, and deliver streamlined resources that drive results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development of training resources to build, retain, and sustain field associate product knowledge.

  • Identify and implement a learning strategy based on current customer engagement and selling techniques that are engaging, realistic, and relevant to today’s learner.

  • Lead the gratis strategy for field associates, meetings, and conferences/events.

  • Innovate and develop new methods of training delivery focused on product and selling education.

  • Work with and influence stakeholders and cross-functional partners across the organization on the training vision, strategy, and priorities.

  • Consistently work with field leaders to gather feedback to assess gaps, pattern and make recommendations to promote continuous improvement.

  • Lead, inspire, and coach team members, fostering individual and team growth and agility through delegation, feedback, instruction, and inspiration. Build on strengths and identify areas for improvement

  • Cultivate collaboration to encourage sharing of best practices, driving innovation, and continuing improvement.

  • Cultivate an inclusive, impactful team that enhances team member contribution by creating an environment of mutual support and shared responsibility

Qualifications

  • Retail background, store selling/operations experience preferred

  • Experience leading a team

  • Proven success at establishing rapport with business partners at multiple levels, working on larger teams, and collaborative work habits

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

  • Strong instructional design and project management skills.

  • Travel requirements 20%

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s in Education, Communication, Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent experience.
