ICF Workday Reporting Analyst in Reston, Virginia

Description

Our team is growing, and we are looking for a Reporting + People Analytics Analyst to help advance our reporting capabilities and build predictive insights into technical dashboarding solutions in Workday and Power BI . Location for this role is flexible as most of the team telecommutes.

As a Reporting & People Analytics Analyst, you will assess the business requirements and Workday’s capabilities to create reports and dashboards within multiple Workday workstreams including Recruiting, HCM, Talent, Learning, and Compensation. You play a key role in the development, administration and improvement of HR reporting processes, data governance and data quality initiatives.

What you will do:

  • Manage the maintenance, design, development, testing, and deployment of standard and custom Workday reports and dashboards in alignment with program objectives and data security framework using calculated fields, and other analytics capabilities.

  • Develop reporting in Power BI from multiple enterprise-wide systems or third-party systems.

  • Proactively researching new Workday reporting & analytics features and functionality and determining how best to meet user needs.

  • Works closely with stakeholders to assess reporting requirements.

  • Document requirements, development, UAT and final deployment in a SOX compliance environment.

  • Perform reporting audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Partnering with other members of the HR Technology team to develop creative solutions for delivering data and insights to leaders, employees, and HR professionals.

  • Troubleshooting user issues

What you will need:

  • 4+ years’ experience working in a corporate professional environment.

  • 2+ years of experience in Workday reporting, dashboards, and creating calculated fields with strong knowledge of Workday Security. 

  • 2+ years of experience creating advanced visualizations and analysis in Power BI.

What we would like:

  • Strong project management skills, time management skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask competing priorities

  • Very proficient in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.

  • Previous experience in Tableau

  • Ability to deliver across multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Strong client relationship skills.  Ability to partner with HR colleagues to identify reporting needs, address gaps

  • Skilled in creating calculated fields. Strong knowledge of Workday Security

  • Experience and knowledge of HR and Employee data.  Preferred experience in data within multiple Workday workstreams.

  • Strong analytical skills

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$76,848.00 - $130,642.00
