ManpowerGroup Senior Buyer in Reston, Virginia
Our client, a leading engineering and construction company in the power/nuclear industry, is seeking a Senior Buyer to join their team. As a Senior Buyer, you will be part of the Procurement Department supporting the development of the AP1000 nuclear power project in Poland. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, expertise in contract negotiation, and proficiency in supplier relationship management , which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $60 - $66
What’s the Job?
Lead the preparation and execution of multimillion-dollar procurement agreements for engineered mechanical equipment.
Develop project purchasing procedures and manage all purchasing activities, including bid evaluations and contract awards.
Administer purchase orders, manage supplier relationships, and resolve compliance issues.
Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, and other departments to ensure accurate procurement documentation.
Provide mentorship to less experienced team members and deliver training on procurement processes.
What’s Needed?
Bachelor’s degree and 10-13 years of relevant experience (or 14-17 years without a degree).
Expertise in procurement processes, contract management, and supplier negotiations.
In-depth knowledge of the power/nuclear industry and technical specifications.
Proficiency with Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and procurement management tools.
US citizenship is required.
