Responsibilities

Noblis is seeking a Junior Level Instructional Systems Designer in Reston, VA

As a junior Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) at Noblis, you’ll work with a Senior ISD to interview Subject Matter Experts (SME), scientists, and clients to capture learning requirements and recommend solutions to advance their mission effectiveness. Your developing communications skills will be critical as you meet regularly alongside a senior ISD with stakeholders to solicit ideas, gather information, ideate on innovative delivery techniques, and incorporate collected feedback throughout the development process.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze results using various evaluation methodologies, namely the Kirkpatrick Model, then assess and implement adjustments to learning solutions to maximize continuous improvement.

• Leveraging learner-centric principles to design the experience, you’ll design synchronous and asynchronous material, and performance support tools that most effectively improve performance while minimizing impact to time away from mission for learners.

• Building from ADDIE and SAM models, your expertise and creativity will result in new ideas to develop engaging and interactive learning experiences.

• To ensure learning solutions delivered are meaningful and meeting expectations, you will collect and analyze results using various evaluation methodologies,

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or Communications and 0+ years of experience

• Familiarity with Section 508 compliance standards

• Familiarity with SCORM - conformant content

• Knowledge of rapid learning development tools (e.g., Presenter, Captivate, Articulate, Storyline)

• Ability to work alongside an ISD with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors

• Willingness to handle multiple projects at any given time with the ability to pivot immediately if necessary

• Strong written and oral communications skills

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in developing learning solutions for IC agencies

• Experience on a team of instructional designers, graphic artists, and programmers in a client-focused consulting environment

• Ability to be flexible to handle multiple priorities and to work flexible schedules as necessary

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities

• Strong attention to detail

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

USD $50,900.00 - USD $79,550.00 /Yr.
