Cloud Systems Engineer with ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret Clearance

Noblis is looking for a cloud engineer who can design, implement, and manage cloud solutions using Microsoft technologies. You will have responsibility for ensuring the security, performance, and availability of our cloud infrastructure and services integrated with on-premises and other 3 rd party cloud services. You will be asked to identify and mitigate technology risks and develop architecture to support processes, collaborate with functional business units to implement business solutions. You will need to understand and determine sizing, capacity planning and requirements for infrastructure, network, and security in the cloud offering.

Responsibilities:

• Managing M365 Defender products to protect our endpoints, identities, email, and applications from cyber threats. Working closely with our Information Security team to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for data security.

• Designing and implementing Azure IaaS solutions - using virtual machines, networking, and storage - integrated with on-premises infrastructure.

• Managing mobile and laptop endpoints with Intune and SCCM in a co-managed environment.

• Working with the M365 suite of products. Supporting a hybrid configuration with Microsoft Entra ID, on-premises Active Directory, and ADFS.

• Implementing data governance with M365 to manage the data classification and lifecycle of corporate data.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience

• Experience with systems engineering using Microsoft technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.

• Proficient in M365, Microsoft Defender, Intune, SCCM, Azure IaaS, AD, ADFS, and Windows Server management.

• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration of tasks.

• Knowledge of cloud security principles, best practices, and compliance standards.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to create and maintain technical documentation.

Desired Qualifications

• Certifications with Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Azure is a plus.

• Top Secret security clearance or willing to obtain a security clearance.

• Experience with VDI - Citrix Virtual Apps and Azure Virtual Desktop

• Experience on system disaster recovery and backup solution engineering, implementation, and operation management.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

USD $99,100.00 - USD $173,400.00 /Yr.
