Warehouse General Production Employee

Job Description

We are seeking General Production employees for our Reno location, which manufactures and distributes common freezer ice packs for the west coast. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading ice packs from a machine. This position requires standing for 10 hours and may involve working Fridays when needed. A machine produces the ice packs, and you will place them individually on a rack, in a box, or on a pallet.

Details

• $15/hr. for Day shift with a start time at 5am

• $15.50 an hour for swing shift

• Monday through Thursday and a shift every other Friday that is all Overtime

Responsibilities

• Load and unload ice packs from a machine.

• Place ice packs individually on racks, in boxes, or on pallets.

• Stand for 10 hours a day.

• Operate tape guns.

• Lift up to 50 lbs.

• Work overtime as needed.

Essential Skills

• Ability to stand for 10 hours a day.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Basic math skills for counting.

• Experience with packing, production, and general labor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Production and manufacturing experience is a plus.

• Experience working in a team in any industry.

• Order picking and inventory experience.

• Candidates must provide their own steel toe shoes.

• Gloves will be provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reno, Nevada.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.50/hr.
