SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Clerk
As a member of the Distribution Team this role will be responsible for the movement, stocking, and organization of products and materials throughout the facilities in support of manufacturing and distribution requirements.
MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Certifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience:
Basic warehousing experience preferred but not required
Experience with various types of warehouse equipment preferred but not required- forklift, walkie-rider, order picker, pallet jacks, ect.
Ability to drive company vehicles (van, pickup, 26 Penske style).
The ideal person would ideally have basic warehouse experience including experience with various types of warehouse equipment such as, forklifts, walkie-rider, order picker, pallet jacks. This role will also need a licensed driver to be able to drive company vehicles such as a 26 box truck.
Skills and abilities:
- Ability to work in all warehousing environments
- Must able to prioritize a high volume of tasks and multi task.
- Must have strong ability to follow up on assignments and work independently.
- Must possess extremely high level of attention to detail.
- Must be able to communicate, as well as follow, verbal and written instructions in English.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to meet company attendance standards.
- Casual office and warehouse atmosphere.
- Due to seasonality and the volume of business, need to be available to work late or modify schedule during high volume periods
- Physical requirements-
- Ability to lift 70 lbs.
- Able to stand/walk for extended periods
- Possess valid drivers license with good driving record
