SUMMARY:
The VP Data Center and Network is responsible for overseeing data center operations, network, infrastructure engineering/architecture and resources within Renown Health. The role will implement strategies that align the companys technology resources with the organizations short- and long-term goals. In addition, the role will identify methodologies that can be used to improve the companys technology stack, products, and services. This role will own oversight of Renowns data center operations, which include Infrastructure Engineering/Architecture, Network, Voice/Telecomm, Data Center and Medical Imaging Team (MIT).
MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Education: M
ust have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English. Bachelors degree is required. Masters degree in is preferred.
Experience:
10 (10) years experience with information systems in a complex multi-platform environment.
5 years as a manger or director in infrastructure and network experience in an information systems department required.
Proven experience in security systems design and development.
Strong understanding of information technology/processing principles and practices.
Hands-on experience in managed services and technology operations
Experience managing compliance efforts including HIPPA, PCI, and other related compliance agencies and implementing IT controls to ensure compliance and compliance testing.
Computer/Typing: M
ust be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word and have the ability to use the computer for online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Support CIO, CISO and VP of Applications by identifying and mitigating infrastructure progress and other delivery issues
Bridging the gap: Helping bridge the gap between technology organizations
Manage day to day data center operations
Manage network ecosystem, to include Wide Area and Local Area Networks
Manager server, storage, and virtualization teams
Owner of disaster recovery, resiliency and solutions and testing
Manage and maintain key vendor partner relationships
Manage and oversee Medical Imaging Team (MIT) operations
Oversee the design and implementation of robust technical architectures, ensuring alignment with business requirements, security standards and industrys best practices.
Manage downtime, incident management and outage resolution
Develop and execute a comprehensive data center and network strategy tailored to the company's business objectives, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Assist in management and stewardship of the technology budget, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
Establish and maintain efficient and reliable infrastructure operations, including systems infrastructure, network, data management and security protocols for high performance, uptime, and data integrity.
Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies.
Identify and mitigate technology-related risks, ensuring data privacy and security regulations compliance.
Stay aware of the latest tech advancements to provide strategic insights and recommendations for maintaining our technological edge.
