SUMMARY:
The Teacher Assistant supports and assists the classroom Teacher in designing and implementing a comprehensive program to meet the educational, emotional, social, health, nutritional, and psychological needs of children within the Head Start Program in accordance with the Head Start Performance Standards.
MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Associates of Arts Degree from an accredited college or University with a major in Early Childhood Education or a degree that includes six Early Childhood Education classes and one year related experience in a pre-school teaching environment.
Preferred:
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or University with a major in Early Childhood Education or a degree that includes six Early Childhood Education classes and one year related experience in a pre-school teaching environment.
