Prime Healthcare Cardiovascular Technician (Non-Certified) in Reno, Nevada
Responsibilities
Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbingprocedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic proceduresperformed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level ofall instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and thetraining of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Proof of completion of an AAS or equivalent program required.2. Minimum requirement is registry eligible within 12 months of hire.3. American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographerrequired within 12 months of hire.4. Current BLS (AHA) certification required.5. Graduated of an accredited program, bachelor’s degree, or Associate Degree in Medical Specialtyrequired.6. Prefer to be an American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or equivalent7. Proficient computer skills.
