SUMMARY:
Seeking mid-level practitioners (APRN or PA licensed in NV) to join our Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Medical Provider Team!
TheAddiction Medicine APCis anAdvanced Practice Registered NurseorPhysician Assistantspecializing in mental health who provides high-quality, patient-centered assessment and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders.
An Advanced Practice Clinicianat HOPES functions as an integral part of the multidisciplinary medical and behavioral health departments, when on the Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) team.Our Addiction Medicine APRN or PA is under the supervision of the Medical Directors, is responsible for ensuring the efficient treatment of patients with Substance Use Disorders, and will collaborate with the Behavioral Health department in that treatment. HOPES has an integrated team model approach to patient care.
We are a certified Patient-Centered Medical Home, recognized by the National Commission on Quality Assurance
MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
*Due to real and potential conflicts of interest that exist when HOPES Behavioral Health providers render services to their coworkers, it is HOPES policy (Policy HR0005) that HOPES employees may not access HOPES Behavioral Health Services. For the same reason, current Behavioral Health patients/clients cannot be employed by HOPES. Accordingly, you hereby acknowledge and understand that if you are receiving services from a HOPES Behavioral Health provider at the time you are offered and accept employment with HOPES, you have the option of rescinding your acceptance of employment or finding a new behavioral health provider outside of HOPES before starting employment with HOPES.
- Active and unrestricted Nevada license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant
- Minimum one-year experience working with mental health or substance use disorders
- Experience diagnosing and treating Substance Use Disorders required.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written
- Valid BLS required prior to hire, per HRSA compliance.
- *This is a 20 hrs/wk part-time position. However, we welcome full-time available applicants interested in joining our Primary Care or Psychiatry Provider Teams with the remainder of their time.
