Atlas LDAR Technician (NDEC Technician) in Remote, Wyoming
Position : LDAR Technician (NDEC Technician)
Location : Remote, WY
We are seeking a LDAR Field Technician to join us at a Casper, WY refinery. This will include some travel throughout Wyoming and into Colorado as well.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collect ground water samples from various monitor wells;
Collect water samples from various sources;
Collect ground water data from various monitor wells;
Collect operating data of corrective action systems;
Perform maintenance of monitoring wells/product recovery systems and corrective action systems; and
Other environmental sampling, monitoring or maintenance as requested
Qualifications:
High school or equivalent education.
Demonstration of high integrity and work ethics.
Must pass a rigorous background check and drug test.
Previous LDAR experience or experience working in petrochemical facilities/outdoor industrial environments preferred but not required.
Skills/Abilities:
Must be self-motivated and dependable
Must be able to work in extreme hot and cold weather conditions.
Must be able to carry a 30lb backpack for approximately six hours a day.
Must be able to climb in pipe racks, multiple flights of stairs, and tall ladders to monitor components.
Must be able to work at heights up to 200 ft.
Basic computer skills.
Basic mechanical skills/mechanically inclined.
