Description
SAIC is seeking a Senior UiPath Robotic Process Automation (RPA) developer(s) who will support a range of customers within and outside of SAIC, including government clients, by automating business processes via UiPath development tools. This position will provide the opportunity to work across the entire automation and development life cycle. Given the growing demand for automation solutions and the increasing complexity of business processes, this role is crucial in driving efficiency and innovation within our organization and for SAIC’s customers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development and experience with RPA tools including UiPath. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business processes that can be automated, streamline workflows, and enhance productivity.
This position can be worked remotely from anywhere within the United States.
RPA Developer Responsibilities:
Design technical solutions to automate business processes and build automations using UiPath development tools
Create and execute tests to evaluate functional and non-functional performance of solutions
Document and update solution designs throughout the automation life cycle
Maintain code using a version control repository
Perform detailed estimations for the time and effort to complete aspects of the project
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents in the production environment
Collaborate with a business analyst to work directly with clients to define requirements, explore solutions, and assess the technical feasibility of RPA for the given problem
Meet with customers to gather additional requirement details or resolve incidents in production
Adhere to best practices and participate in team meetings to further mature standards and practices of the development team
Provide feedback to other developers by performing code reviews and technical design reviews
Evaluate change requests to determine approach and level of effort and communicate it back to either the project team or customer
Educate and train business stakeholders on deployed solutions by establishing knowledge base articles and user guides, hosting live training sessions, and other methods to ensure successful adoption by the business groups
Ability to work collaboratively as a member of the Innovation Factory Hyper-automation team, but also independently toward generation of quality deliverables
Ability to use UiPath’s Document Understanding (DU) to parse data from pdf’s and similar documentation
Qualifications
Required Citizenship and Clearance:
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, such as computer science or STEM-related field and five (5) or more years’ experience working directly with UiPath.
Required Certifications:
- UiPath Advanced Developer certification.
Required Skills:
Experience working with aspects of Microsoft’s Office 365 suite – Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneNote, Planner, Power Platform, etc.
Proficient in creating connectors, flows, and templates within UiPath tools.
Experience with Agile and user story documentation skills.
Three (3) or more years’ experience developing automations using UiPath, or a combination of UiPath and Power Automate.
Ability to effectively communicate ideas across teams comprised of technical and non-technical staff.
Strong knowledge/experience with tooling like GIT/JIRA/Azure DevOps.
Demonstrated excellence in analytical thinking and problem solving.
Strong communicator with demonstrated experience working closely with customers on requirements and execution.
Excellence in planning, organizational, and time management skills.
The ability to learn new skills and concepts quickly.
Strong ability to effectively multi-task and manage concurrent projects with varying priorities.
Desired Experience and Certifications:
Relevant certifications or ability to obtain relevant certifications.
Willingness and ability to work with other Robotic Process Automation platforms, such as Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, etc.
Experience working with UiPath Document Understanding and AI-based applications, or ability to engage training toward proficiency.
Experience working with Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, etc.
Two (2) or more years of experience performing Operations & Maintenance of automations.
Two (2) or more years of experience working with clients in the U.S. Government.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience interacting directly with clients at multiple levels.
Currently hold a Public Trust designation.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
