SAIC Software Engineer Senior Principal in REMOTE WORK, Alabama

Description

As a Software Engineer Senior Principal at SAIC, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, testing, and debugging advanced software solutions. You will collaborate closely with senior managers, subject matter experts, clients, and fellow engineers to deliver innovative and high-quality software. This role requires advanced technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive the development of new principles and concepts. Candidates must be able to get a Secret Security Clearance .

· Design, develop, document, test, and debug complex software solutions.

· Create special use, customized, or commercial software products.

· Prepare operating instructions and ensure software standards are met.

· Conduct analysis and collaborate on the planning, design, development, and utilization of data processing systems.

· Work effectively with engineers, project managers, subject matter experts, and clients.

· Serve as the organization spokesperson on advanced projects and programs.

· Participate with senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives.

· Recommend and make decisions on administrative or project work matters.

· Act as an advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research and applications.

· Work on unusually complex technical problems and provide highly innovative and ingenious solutions.

· Develop advanced technological ideas and guide their development into final products.

· Be a productive member of a fast-paced agile team.

· Lead and contribute to agile ceremonies and the continuous delivery of software solutions.

· Work under consultative direction toward long-range goals and objectives.

· Independently determine and pursue courses of action to achieve desired results.

Qualifications

Requirements:

· Bachelor's and fourteen (14) years or more of experience, or

· Master's and twelve (12) years or more of experience, or

· PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more of experience.

· U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance.

· HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) - proficient in JavaScript coding.

· Containers (e.g., Docker).

· Build Automation (e.g., Jenkins).

· Automated Testing (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Jest, Mocha).

· Automated UI Testing (e.g., Selenium).

· Web Services (e.g., REST).

· Cloud Computing Services (e.g., AWS, Azure).

· Dependency Injection Frameworks (e.g., Spring, Java EE).Object-oriented design - apply design patterns to common problems.

· Object-relational mapping frameworks (e.g., Hibernate).

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
