Saint-Gobain Warranty Field Representative in Remote, United States

What’s the job? -

*The ideal candidate will reside in TX, preferably in the Dallas or Houston areas*

The Warranty Field Representative for Commercial Building & Infrastructure (CBI) will provide a full range of field warranty services to support our customers in the use of our products. This role will work closely with the sales team in identifying opportunities for business and customer growth through improved field use of Commercial Roofing portfolio of products and systems and implement a robust roof inspection program in conjunction with our warranty programs.---

  • Field Inspections include writing field reports throughout projects, warranty inspections, supporting sales and contractors on product application concerns, and involvement with internal capital projects.-

  • Warranty Services include responding to communications on claims and technical questions.-

  • This is a field role, requiring extensive travel to call on customers.- Travel is up to 85% primarily within driving distance with company provided vehicle; some overnight travel is required within the U.S.-

What do you bring?

  • 7+ years relevant work experience; or, Associate’s degree + 5 years experience; or Bachelor's degree + 1 year experience. College degrees preferred in engineering, construction, or related field.

  • Valid driver’s license and able to successfully pass our MVR background check.

  • Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and roofs of commercial buildings. Field conditions and job site terrain will vary as site visits can occur throughout various phases of projects.

  • This role requires a high level of independence and self-motivation.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build quality relationships through networking

  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication; good presentation skills.

  • Bilingual in English & Spanish, a plus.
