CTG Strategic Sourcing Analyst I in Remote, United States
CTG is seeking to fill a Strategic Sourcing Analyst opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.

Overview:
We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our team. This individual will play a key role in sourcing vendors at the best price to meet business requirements while mitigating risk and controlling expenses. You will be responsible for guiding cross-functional teams through the sourcing process and negotiating contracts to ensure the company receives the best value for each dollar spent.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work with management to identify an Executive Sponsor and establish a cross-functional project team for sourcing initiatives.
Guide the Project Team through the Strategic Sourcing process, providing regular updates on progress and challenges.
Lead kick-off meetings to clarify objectives, strategy, and timelines for sourcing initiatives.
Develop and execute Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs) based on business needs and market conditions.
Facilitate the analysis and evaluation of vendor proposals, ensuring they align with the established criteria.
Coordinate vendor demonstrations, reference calls, and on-site visits to shortlist potential vendors.
Lead contract negotiations in collaboration with the Project Team and Legal to secure the best pricing and terms.
Prepare documentation to inform senior managers and the Executive Sponsor of sourcing recommendations, savings, and business impacts.
Support the Third-Party Risk Management Program to ensure vendors are properly vetted and approved.
Research procurement trend data to identify potential savings opportunities and provide recommendations to business lines.
Ensure compliance with the company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls.
Promote a diverse and inclusive environment that reflects the company’s values.
Maintain internal control standards and address audit points and regulatory issues as applicable.
Perform additional related duties as required.
Scope of Responsibilities:
The role focuses on the Strategic Sourcing process, ensuring the selection of vendors that meet business needs while maximizing competition and value. This is a critical position in controlling expenses and mitigating risk at the company.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
At least 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
Education and Experience Preferred:
Experience in financial services or banking industry sourcing.
Certification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field (e.g., CPSM, CPIM).
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position is from $24.76 to $41.27 per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
