We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Technical Product Manager to lead the implementation of software solutions for manufacturing program revision control and direct numerical control (DNC) across our global manufacturing sites. Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of software solutions for manufacturing program revision control and DNC to support global manufacturing operations.

  • Take full accountability and ownership for the product operational stability and cybersecurity posture, including remediation of cyber vulnerabilities and compliance to CMMC controls.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, and manufacturing, to gather and analyze business requirements.

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on CNC control systems and their integration with software solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all project activities.

  • Manage and prioritize the development backlog

  • Influence software OEM develop roadmaps to meet GE Aerospace short term and long-term strategic objectives.

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with software implementation and CNC control integration.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing program revision control and DNC processes.

  • Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Mentor and coach junior team members to develop their technical and project management skills.

  • Synthesize varying requirements across different manufacturing processes into a cohesive product roadmap.

  • Make strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on data-driven insights and analysis.

  • Travel to sites within the US and globally to support project implementations and gather voice of the customer.

  • Partner with the business on organizational change management and training to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR associate's degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience inSTEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) fields.

  • Note : Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Eligibility Requirement:

The base pay range for this position is $127,900- $213,200. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on March 7, 2025.

Technical Expertise:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on CNC control systems and software implementation.

  • Strong knowledge of software design and coding principles

  • Experience working in an Agile environment

  • Familiarity with versatile implementation options

  • Demonstrates knowledge on technical topics, such as caching, APIs, data transfer, scalability, and security

  • Knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory standards in the aerospace industry.

  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues effectively.

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize varying requirements across manufacturing processes into a cohesive product roadmap.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
