CTG Solution Architect - Databricks in Remote, United States
CTG is seeking to fill a Solution Architect - Databricks for our client.
Location: Remote, PST hours
Duration: Permanent Placement
Duties:
Act as the primary technical advisor for large, strategic client accounts, guiding their adoption of Databricks solutions .
Lead customers through their data transformation journey, helping evaluate and embed Databricks into their strategic initiatives.
Design and execute account-specific technical strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Foster relationships with client stakeholders and build a network of technical champions to advocate for Databricks within the organization.
Partner with internal teams to align Databricks offerings with client needs, driving impactful outcomes.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to peers and junior team members, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
Skills:
Expertise with tools and technologies like Apache Spark , Hadoop , and Kafka .
Strong knowledge of SQL , OLTP / OLAP systems, and data pipeline architectures .
Hands-on experience with tools such as pandas , scikit-learn , and techniques like hyperparameter optimization (HPO).
Proficiency in building solutions for use cases like logs analysis, threat detection, real-time monitoring, and risk analysis.
Proficiency in languages like Python , Scala , Java , or R , with experience in debugging and software development.
Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills to build trust and deliver results effectively.
Experience:
15+ years in technical architecture or consulting roles, with significant experience managing large, global accounts (>$1M ARR).
Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, driving stakeholder alignment at all levels.
Demonstrated experience in data science and machine learning, including hands-on expertise with ML tools and methodologies.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70.00 to $80.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
